Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vac uum to date. Its most notable innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.
The design is also superior to the other models. It features an elegant, top piece that resembles toys rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.
In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ swiftly took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It even was able to capture sand and small gravel which other robots couldn't do. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and cannot clean the stairs, is an option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best option is probably a hybrid. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. These bots also have various additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive at retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to compromise to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles such as tables and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little missed corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using the buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.
If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed it can be done without difficulty. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people but it will help you keep the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the best on the market however it's expensive.
It's a tiny base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that do a really good job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do everything.
If you're looking to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine There are many other options available with a wide range of eufy models that cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper and has many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac g30
eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpet floors, as well as a mopping function at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app guides you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an outlet for power and plenty of room to allow it to move around but.
Learn Even more Here is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design isn't as ostentatious when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way in which the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and where it can't access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be empty as often and comes with an array of boundaries that keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky material such as cereal.
